'59 oil filter cartridge
« on: August 29, 2014, 08:40:32 PM »
Hi All,

Just recently bought a '59 and wondering where is the best place to buy the oil filter cartridges?  I normally buy a quantity so I have them in the cupboard, but don't want to pay crazy prices.

Happy to support the local guys in Oz if they can be had for a reasonable price.

thanks  :-)

Thanks Bruce,

I contacted All American, and they are $25 each.

Further research has shown that FRAM have 2 options...the C4 & the C4P.  C4 is a full flow type paper element, and C4P is a disc type bypass filter - both are nominated for the '59.

My dilemma is which one is correct?
