For Sale – Illness Forces Sale   A$ 40,000.00 Negotiable

This 1928 Cadillac 7 Passenger Sedan was originally imported to Australia in RHD format and is not only a piece of GM motoring history, but also a piece of Australian motoring history. This vehicle would be one of only a handful of vehicles, originally imported into Australia in 1928 that has survived the past 87 years.
During 1928, 108 Cadillac’s, & 106 La Salles were registered in Australia, and were imported by either: GM Export Company, Lane Motors, McGrath Motors or other private independent importers.
After being garaged for 38 years this vehicle was located as a barn find in 2000 in a very sorry state. Restoration started in 2003/04, once 80% of the missing parts had been located. Restoration continued until late 2014 when ill health forced cessation of the restoration. By this date the last of the missing parts had been located also.
This vehicle is 100% complete including many hard, if not, impossible to find parts and accessories.  Sale includes a quantity of parts that may or may not be used as spare parts.
The chassis, woodwork, engine and body, including paint, have all been restored via a ground up restoration.
Trimming of the interior is the only item that is required in order to complete this total rebuild. Part of the trimming budget has already been spent, and trimming items are held by the company that the present owner has appointed as the trimmer. These will be transferred to the potential purchaser.
The major amount of time and money has already been spent, and it is a good opportunity for someone to take over this project and finish it.
This is a huge and impressive vehicle and will make a lasting impression on all who see it or have the privilege of a drive in it.

This car has been sold.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the Duct Tape.

Congratulations on the sale of the vehicle, and I can relate to the reason for the sale.
