As for accommodation, I was not involved with the commercial world so I cannot comment on that side of it.

When I had to provide accommodation for my wife and I, we stayed in Motels, which we found reasonable.   Excepting that we were taken aback when we found out that the Motels and Hotels don't provide in-room Fridges.   That really made us change out travelling habits.

G'day mates,
I hope Bruce doesn't bounce me out of this topic... but this seems to be the most read.
Is anyone shipping a car or container to California or know someone that is??? I need to piggy back some wheels. Lots of things going to Oz but not too much coming back. Any help appreciated. Please contact me directly at bobscads@comcast.net Thanks.
 Cheers, Bob

Heck, why should I bounce you out of this topic?   I don't have that much power.

There should be some containers coming your way, as with the low Aussie Dollar, and the large amount of performance cars that have come out of USA over the years, and the fascination with our Falcon Coupes, there is always cars going the reverse direction.

When I win the Lottery, I am bringing my own car back to USA to attend a CLC GN, then bring it back home afterwards.

Bruce,
I'd love to see you, Bronwyn & your car over here.
Any ideas or contacts for a container coming here would be most appreciated.
 Cheers, Bob
