New to LaSalle Forum

Hi,
I have just joined the forum, having recently purchase my first Cadillac. 1963 Eldorado Convertible.
What a pleasure to drive.
I have had the car Engine Service and Transmission serviced/checked and may have an issue with the Transmission.
It's a bit sluggish changing up from 1st to 2nd, not to bad though.
The guy that did the Transmission said that the pressures where all over the shop and that the filler was blocked. No rubbish in the pan though.
Depending on how it goes over the next few trips, and when it gets hot, we will see if we need to do more.
Worst scenario is a complete rebuild
OK, my question, worst scenario. Where is the best place to source parts or new reco'd/refurbished Transmission?
What would this set me back?

Thank you for taking the time read my post and I look forward to your comments.

Cheers
Steve

Steve,

Join the 63/64 chapter in the USA. (mad if you don't)

Very clever guy called Jason Edge runs it.

In recent months, I've bought bits from both Jason and Russ Austin. both run a small hobby business for these year Cadillac's. Good prices and prompt attention by both.

There are lots of very helpful videos and written stories on everything 63/64 .

Cheers, Kev
