Car Cover Wanted
« on: November 03, 2018, 06:47:04 AM »
Looking for suggestions for a local supplier for an outside car cover for my '76 Deville . I know I can have a custom cover made but they are a bit pricey at around $600 . I've looked at Ebay and Supercheap but they don't have one listed that's big enough . I need one at least 6m long .
I can get a cheaper cover from the US but I was hoping to buy one local .
The one I'm using at the moment I got from the US and it has lasted about 3 years . The sun finally destroyed it .

Thanks............Phil

Go to Supercheap and get one for a boat.

I have one for my boat, and it is good enough to fit my '72 Eldo if required.

I bit the bullet and ordered a cover from the US . The cover was cheap but the freight is the killer . All up about $200.

The problem with getting these things from USA is that if there is a warranty claim, it is useless as once the part leaves USA, there is no Warranty.

With my first boat cover, for my boat, when it tote, they replaced it.

The last one tore after the warranty ran out, so I had to put up with that.

I use my cover on my car as a dust cover, as the car is parked in my garage, as I don't put a cover on my car outside, as the movement of the wind causes the cover to rub on the paint, even though the paint on my car is really crappy.
