Stolen 53 Eldorado parts.

Stolen 53 Eldo parts. Two weeks ago I discovered that many items from my shed had been taken without my knowledge. The police are investigating. A significant amount of parts were taken off my 53 Eldo.  Police have a clear clear suspect but until these parts are returned I am understandably concerned. I believe many of the Eldo specific parts made their way to Victoria from Brisbane several week's ago.
They are useless to anyone unless they have a 53 Eldo. No one with a 53 Eldo was involved.
Please be vigilant.
These parts are incredibly rare and mated to the specific car they are from. A pair of wing vents stamped 411 in the brass are amongst the parts. Rear windows and 3 guide spotlights and an assortment of waffle trim from the doors of both my eldos. Also a 57 ac box from my 57 Biarritz.

Yes, it is heartbreaking. As stated there is a suspect. I just hope he has the intelligence to not discard or damage any of the pieces. . . . And there are many.

I have yet another meeting with police this morn. I can identify who took all the parts. The legal process is slow. I'm assuming that through the small circle that is our hobby that others will know him as well. I just hope he understands the gravity of what he has done, regardless of his motives.
The Eldorado only parts are specific to my two cars and need to be returned safely.

If you are dealing with different State Police, then it is a slow matter, but hopefully you will get your parts back, and the offender, his, or her, their just deserts.

Are there any lawyers who might read this who may assist me in the recovery of these very specific and precious irreplaceable parts? The police have advised that it is better to pursue the civil courts to reclaim the items as even a police conviction is no guarantee that they will be returned. I can be reached on 0472760019

The Door waffle trim as well as the steering wheel and rechromed rear bumper and front bumper ends that belong to #433 and#412 were among the parts taken.
The majority of stolen parts were taken off #412. Door bolsters and interior panels and vent wings and rear windows. Irreplaceable stuff and useless to anyone who does not own an Eldo. And the thief does not own an Eldo.

I'll keep posting pics soon. This was an armrest that I hand made for #412. Ironically 6 months ago I was generously given an original replacement. Both were taken out of #412. The hydraulic window lifts with brand new rams purchased from Hydroelectric were also taken. They are 50mm shorter than series 62. Useless to anyone without an Eldo.

Well it's been a year and I'd say 'm mid way thru dealing with it.
Law is a bit like plumbing.
You spend a long time digging. You have to get on your hands and knees. You have to immerse yourself in sh#t. You need several caustic attacks. You have to prod and probe to find the root of the problem and then you have to poke at it until the stagnant turd gets flushed out.

Yes, but the thief has been granted a second year long Intervention order so I must be very careful what I say.  Some items have been returned. A lot of valuable parts haven't.
      I'm disgusted at the actions of the thief and just as disgusted by the process of law. That old chestnut, " possession is 9/10ths of the law rings true.
But as you probably know I'm a stubborn sh#t and won't give up easily.
