53 cadillac hood latch

I was wondering if anyone can help me with how to fit a 53 Cadillac hood latch ( the part that fits on the hood with the locating pin ). Anyone in Melbourne / Victoria own one thanks

Just realised who this Pete Smith is. Bet he has a  Cadillac. With a nicely restored rear bumper, gold 24k Cadillac fenderscripts and nos guide spotlights. And really nice rechromed foglights housings. . . . You know the ones that are really expensive to restore.

I'm going to be coming to Melbourne soon to pick up a large quantity of STOLEN 53 parts. Sadly there is still a large quantity of very valuable parts still to be returned to me. As a fellow 53 owner you will know how debilitating a theft of that magnitude would hurt.
I'll be commencing legal action to sue the thief through the Magistrates Court to reclaim the outstanding parts and damages.
Perhaps when I'm down there we can meet up for a beer.
