All it takes is a post very similar to your original post.

If you are posting attachments make sure your image isn't too large as the forum does have a size limit,  it will not allow uploads of more than  500 kilobytes.

Bear in mind cameras of today take very large photos, anything up to 5 megabyte which means that you will have to reduce the size before you attach the image.

Peter,
I just figured that out!! I couldn't even post one pic! I think I was responsible for getting the US  site updated to accept large pictures. Maybe your site can follow thru  & do the same?? It's a PITA to be able to send pics  directly to every site, ebay, Craigs list, ETC  EXCEPT the CLC one. It can't be very hard to do.
Cheers, Bob

Hi Bob, I will change the configuration to accept 1 megabyte.

Bear in mind that the forum screen can only show about 1200 pixels wide.

Here is a free tool that you can use to change the size of your images http://www.imageoptimizer.net

Hi Bob,
Just as a follow up the websites that you mentioned  ebay, Craigs list, ETC have advertising on them which means that they don't have to worry about data limits.

If the Cadillac club allowed me to place advertising on the forum we would be better placed to allow large amounts of data to be uploaded but as you can appreciate when you are on premium servers data costs money.

The Cadillac club has an allocation of 2 gigabytes, this means that if we allow you to upload unlimited data sizes ie: 2 to 5 megabytes a photo then it wouldn't take long to exceed the data limits.

But on the other hand if you would like advertising all over the website and we could bring in about $5000 in advertising then the data limits could be increased to about 200 gigabytes.

Another thing to consider is the fact that the website and forum reside on Premium SSD Servers in Australia and as such offer speed and reliability with backups included.
